Research Associate I/II/III, In Vitro Pharmacology

Overview

EnquBio, a dynamic technology-driven discovery and service company, is actively searching for a highly motivated Research Associate to join our rapidly growing team in San Diego. As a member of the Drug Screening and Screening Technology Development team, you will play an active role in advancing our scientific initiatives and contributing to the success of our drug discovery projects.

Responsibilities

  • Undertakes routine assignments following established procedures, demonstrating an ability to identify deviations from accepted practices.

  • Operates with minimal instructions for routine tasks and seeks detailed guidance for new assignments.

  • Functions under the close supervision of supervisor or senior personnel.

  • Provides essential support in the High Throughput Screening (HTS) and assay development department.

  • Contributes actively to the overall operations and the achievement of departmental goals.

  • Executes job-specific tasks in strict adherence to applicable regulations,

  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed and may be required to assist in other departments as necessary.

 

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology or a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; Industry experience in CRO/Pharma/Biotech or exposure to R&D processes is preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with cell-based and biochemical assays.

  • Experience in supporting assays in 96 or 384-well formats for SAR screening.

  • Understanding of molecular and cell biology, including mammalian cell culture and compound handling.

  • Familiarity with luminescence, fluorescence, absorbance, and radiometric detection methods is preferred

  • Understanding of complex scientific procedures, with technical proficiency in molecular and cell biology.

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills for seamless teamwork.

  • Proficient in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
