Head of In Vivo Pharmacology
Overview
EnquBio, a dynamic technology-driven service company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated leader to head our in vivo Pharmacology department. This key leadership position requires deep expertise in PK/PD, animal model development, and translational pharmacology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning and achievement of business goals for the in vivo Pharmacology department, providing both scientific and operational leadership while driving innovation in our in vivo research programs.
Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management:

Manage a diverse, high-performing team, providing daily scientific and operational leadership to ensure the successful execution of scientific projects and delivery of high quality class services.

Expand the in vivo pharmacology team through strategic hiring, training, and development initiatives, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Provide guidance and coaching to promote individual and team growth, ensuring rewarding career experiences and meeting performance expectations.

Strategic & Operational Excellence:

Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company.

Provide scientific direction and strategy to identify and implement new platforms, expanding service capabilities and capacities while staying at the forefront of advancements in the field.

Oversee budget development, staff projections, and the achievement of business goals, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Ensure operational compliance with IACUC, AAALAC, and EHS rules and regulations.

Collaboration & Client Relations:

Actively contribute to ongoing and future collaborations with multiple partners, supporting complex scientific projects and maintaining strong, strategic relationships with clients and collaborators.

Work closely with management and the sales team to expand service offerings and meet revenue goals.

Represent EnquBio in scientific and regulatory forums, as well as in meetings with external partners.

Qualifications
-
PhD or MD degree with at least 10 years of experience in in vivo pharmacology, including leadership roles in biotech or pharmaceutical settings. Experience with CROs is highly desirable.

Extensive hands-on experience in PK/PD studies, efficacy studies, and animal model development.

Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.

Highly motivated, self-driven, with excellent time management and multitasking skills.

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to in vivo research.

Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.

Proficiency in data analysis and relevant software tools.
